How I can splice s-video plugs on the ends of a coaxial cable?
they just moved into a house using mostly pre-wired coaxial. I would like link my DVD s-video to s-video TV 1-2 coaxial cables running between them. It seemed that the previous owner cut his own joint. thanks
If you have two coax it should work fine, just make sure you are as close to identical as possible length. If I was doing I would terminate the BNC coaxial connectors and the use of video-s to 2 BNC cables at each end. Just make sure that no other RF splitters or anything else connected to the wires.
