Blu-Ray Streaming PC to HDTV?

I recently purchased a-> HDMI DVI connector to connect my PC to my HDTV. I hear Blu-Ray my PC to the TV. Is TV playback distort the quality at all due to a larger screen? The average bitrate for each file is about 5 to 10 megs and the quality of PC is impressive. Is it the same way on TV? What if I play a 1080p video on my PC and the TV is only 720p? If it's 1080p? The DVI-HDMI cable is very thick, with excellent shielding and received rave reviews. I'm just curious if TV viewing to be as stellar as the PC display.

In general, probably will be fine. if your TV is 1080p and less than 50 inches, should look good in everything. Nowhere as good as its much higher resolution and control much smaller, but not bad. if your TV is 720P, 720P, a Blu-Ray look good, 1080P Blu-Ray maybe not, depending on your video card, the quality of television and lots of other things. A 720P TV and a computer screen is horrible for anything other than watching movies, however.
