Toshiba Satellite Laptop to LG Plasma TV?

I just bought Sentana broadband and want to see it in my plasma TV via my laptop. Portable – Toshiba Satellite Pro A200 …. I think. VGA output. Television – LG plasma with built-in tuner. It has a VGA input. I have a VGA cable and audio cable. Can anyone please help me, I tried to connect but I can not make it work, all I can get is audio.

If your TV has VGA input so you only have to connect the two, and make sure your computer resolution and refresh rate is set to one that television can accept. If you have a VGA input manual you can find information on what resolutions or rates are accepted.
