700 DCT problem with my Motorola cable box?

Well, I connect the DCT 700 and I activated through the web site of Shaw. He says to wait 30 minutes but ill been waiting over an hour and the TV just says "One moment please This channel will be available shortly." All other channels not work. How I can fix this?

My cable box receives some kind of failure once a month or less. In almost all cases, I can solve the problem, unplug the unit, waiting several minutes, then plugging it back in. You need to reboot when I do, which may take some time, perhaps an hour. But then the problem is gone. If that does not solve it, I go to the section line to help my cable provider and talk to a qualified representative who can unlock box remotely or arrange for replacement if necessary. If your new box has not come to life now, I switch it off and start again as before. If that does not do so, need help from the cable company.
