RG6 coaxial cable compression Q?

I have a lot of compression connectors (type f) compression tool and cutting back to my house. I just bought some RG6 cables in bulk on eBay but I have worried and tried a tester of a chain that had at home. It did not work, but it was RG6 cable. It RG59. Im wondering if this is normal, or am I doing something wrong, I followed all the instructions I could see online and in the packages I bought. pretty sure that the problem Coaxial cable is the size I have Im. Can someone just confirm this with me. Please and thanks.

You are correct, RG59 is slightly lower compared with the diameter of RG6 cable. This really does not affect hex rivets, as you just crimp them tighter. When it comes to compression rivets, the diameter Cable is very import. I am willing to be this is the problem.
