How I can get a signal from Dish Network?

I just bought the package self installation today that came with everything needed to Dish Network configure serivce. But the problem is I'm not getting a signal. How I can get one, so I do not have to return settings to the store tomorrow? Receiver and antenna is 301 500. I need some help because as soon as possible to the customer support is useless and redirects me to different people, I never give a straight answer. Thank you.

if all the cables connected correctly and also have a dish aligned properly, you should receive a signal, if you can not go to menu 6-1-1 and control the switch of the test. to see if it will pick up satellite signals. if it is not likely to have a technician out there looking at all the wiring and alignment plate.
