What does it mean to connect a Direct TV satellite system at home in an RV?
Our black box is a Hughes Network "Silver Edition" and a normal tv. Coaxial cable will work satisfactory for carrying communication satellite television? Is there a special dish to be be compatible with the Direct TV system? We have seen the dish mounted on a tripod. How difficult it is to tune the satellite antenna in the direction required?
Some things to answer: 1. Where is the Southwest? Get a compass. 2. How do you mount the dish? Tripod? Monte in the RV? It must be safe but must be removed quickly. 3. Make the cable run between the dish and the TV is the only challenge, since it can not always guarantee that South will be when you park your RV. Once you've done it once or twice, it should go up quickly when you arrive at your site. Mike Honeycutt
