help TV antenna?
I have a digital TV antenna with preamp squareshooter Wingard power and basic cable service. I would like to connect together and distribute the feed to my TV, since both have channels that I like. The house is prewired and now I have some televsions in antenna signal (digital to analog converter) and some in the cable. When I use a splitter and a combiner (ie, the two inputs connected to an ouput) and then divide all TV antenna signal vanishes. Is this some kind of interference, and if so is there a combiner to isolate the signals that the signal cable is not 'leak' in the signal from the antenna (ie, some kind of discriminatory?). My digital to analog converter has an analog pass through what I should be able to turn to the antenna and keep it off for the cable?
There is no way to do what you want to do without at least one switch in a instead of its cable distribution system, or dual cable runs to each TV. It would be easy to do with a single TV converter box that has a cable connecting the the TV antenna socket and the drive output to the TV via composite cables. Switch the two inputs of TV remote control. But do that with multiple TV need to switch (es) or an additional cable runs. His idea divisor inverse ("combiner" in your question) have not worked because economic dividers are not bidirectional. Theoretically, you could try two-way splitter, but again have the interference between the output of your converter box and the cable channels.
