How to increase my wireless signal?
I have a BT Home Hub with two Ethernet cable outlets and a wireless antenna. An Ethernet cable is working to my desk and the second cable (30 meters of it) is connected to my PS3 on the second floor. My laptop uses the air phone. My strength signal on the second floor is 1 / 5 bars for my laptop. Is it possible to connect a hardware device to the second ethernet cable as another router to increase my signal Wi-Fi upstairs. Thank you.
Buy a wireless access point that connects to the Ethernet network and provides another access point wireless. You may have to buy a small switch and connect the access point and the PS3 on the switch, which is fed by the cable …. Find the Linksys site For examples of access points.
