What is this system? You need this!?
Hi all: I recently purchased two alpine type r. I have a custom box with ventilation IMO it sounds better than closed … But back to the questions. The amplifier that powers them is a Kenwood Excellon xr1s, 700 watts. I know that means that each sub can only run at 350 RMS … instead of 500. Is this amp too weak? I mean, ive had this system for about 2 weeks and I havent come to play to the sound of 75% and still shakes everything lol. I mean I think is a good system, but is replacing the need amplifier? Also, I upgraded my battery a Panasonic 550 RCA to RCA Bosche 1000. Is this the battery that could handle this? Thnaks in advance PPL
or could increase the amplifier but if the low q's where I want then I wouldnt worry about it, go to the next step, improve em door speakers and amplifier with a four-channel amplifier.
