What materials are passed a satellite signal through?
I am looking to build something to hide my satellite dish and wondered what can be done.
Good question, but one simple answer is that needs to be out and no obstacles between him and the satellite is pointed out. When is absolutely necessary, the satellite dishes used domes "to cover them, which are made of specially designed materials that do not fade radio signals passing through them a lot. Maybe you could relocate the antenna to a less visible, but should be able to see the satellite along its length. You can get a larger antenna that could be located in less desirable places to see the satellite. You could get a larger one that would be installed in your yard at home if that might work for you. Finally, satellite TV antennas designed to sit on the roof of a mobile home that come with an aerodynamic dome so the box looks like a blister bubble instead of a satellite dish. But they still have to be located outside a clear view of satellites.
