Nextel BlackBerry 7520 Handsfree Kit that has a direct connect button remote?
I'm trying to find a Bluetooth headset permanently installed in a car that is compatible with the Direct Connect feature on a BlackBerry 7520. While I understand that the audio is connected directly to go through a bluetooth headset adapter, I'm trying to find one that also has a remote control push to talk "so we do not have to physically press one on the phone (like maybe a foot pedal). I know that the headphones that do this do not exist, but in reality I'm looking for something that is installed on a vehicle not in the ear of a person. Thanks!
I regret to say that while I was working for a local Nextel dealer we could not find an installation kit difficult for any of our BlackBerry. The problem is that all Nextel Blackberry has an external antenna, neither team made for an external antenna. They make for units in the PCS and cellular, but not for iDEN. I do not know if you could change one of these or not, I always try, but never did. Good luck!
