What is the best way to connect 2 HD dish and receiver ViP622 dual DVR??
Hello, can someone please guide me through the best 6 way to connect two dual HD TV / DVR receivers? I understand there is a device that can divide multiple TV but they watch the same channel. How does that work remote controls, etc? I just bought a new condo and I'm trying to get this done right. There are four people in the building and 6 so that your TV will never be someone who watching TV in June, at the same time.
The device you are looking for is called a divisor. I do not think we send dish. You will probably have to go to Radio Shack to get it. Remote: You will need an additional two remote controls to operate UHF TV 5 and 6. (At this point you should have 2 green and 2 IR UHF tab blue chip for DVR) You would have to see what the address is for the TV remote 2 to cope. (Menu 6-1-3 in the box next to REM addr J is the number of address. (Remote Control to meet new hold down Sat until all four lights on the remote light up then press the number you saw in box j then # And then the record button. Now that should be considered for the remote to work. Now if you have your DVR connected to two then all you have to do is go to the TV2 consider that the cable out and put it on the divider then have coaxial cable (RG-6) for the two outputs of the divider. One will go to the current and run the second TV2 coaxial cable to the TV you want to be the same as TV2 (3rd tv). Then repeat this for the second TV2. This allows you to have six TVs and two copies of the second TV. If you were expecting a different setting, as if the copy of TV1, email me and I can walk through the different ways to do it.
