I have a pair of speakers for computer with the bare wire ends. "I can connect these to an RCA plug?
The speakers have two wires (black and red). I'm trying to find a powered subwoofer to connect, but I think most subs have only female RCA connectors. Is it possible to connect speaker wire to RCA connector? If so, where I can find parts to do this? I have no welding equipment, so that some sort of crimp money or connection would be helpful. Thanks!
Sounds fishy to me. Most speakers connected via cables, banana plugs, or screw caps. I would not buy an amp without a speaker wire connection RCA connectors are designed specifically for multi-sub configurations. Always can and strip one end of an RCA cable and try that. But I advise you to look around. Why not have a separate facility sub speaker amp?
