How I can create my own PVR / DVR, specifically in a different room on the TV?
I would like to use a computer more to build my own PVR / DVR, and her house in the basement. Use My house is wired with CAT5, so maybe I can somehow.
It may be necessary to obtain an infrared signal sent by the infrared remote from where the TV is where the receiver's IR team. This is what I had to do, I've been using for several years and works very well. Then just run the coaxial cable to your computer TV card and then from there go to the TV.
