Dish Network satellite-Lash-up RV Question?
I have a dish antenna and a 1000.2 VIP-722 Dual Tuner Receiver. The receiver is in my I think home and take it with me when I travel. I satellites 110, 119 and 129. The antenna has three output lines and the receiver has inputs of only 2 satellite. I think I need a DPP44 switch in the middle, then a DPP separator I have only run one cable to the receiver. In my house, using a DP34 switch appears work well. So, I can use a DP34 switch in the RV or should I use the DPP44? Are there other acceptable solutions should consider? (Yes, I have a TV high definition in the RV.) Thanks, miscue
Im an installer. No change is necessary because 44 1000.2 combines all three signals over a line and can run up to 3 receivers. ViP722 His came with a splitter that divides the line into a 2 signals for the two tuners (satellite entries) Attach the splitter to the receiver and the line of plate separation.
