Multi-color twinkling stars?
So that's what seems to be a star tonight, is a blink and change colors. Like red / blue / Green / white. Not seeing the stars usually so do not know if it's usually there. However, the multi-colors are awesome! There appears to move either, as a satellite or something.
Stars seem to shine because of disturbances in Earth's atmosphere. The lower the star in the sky, atmosphere rather than looking through what the star may appear brighter and change the colors. My guess is that you are looking at the bright star Sirius, which is near the western horizon at this time in the U.S..
