Why is the image quality on my samsung plasma poor?
I have a Samsung HP-T5054 50 "plasma TV connected to a Comcast Motorola DCH3416 All-Digital, HDTV, dual-tuner DVR, M-Card ™ Host Set-top. We have the two connected with a HDMI cable. The image quality is very poor (except in certain channels HD). The table shows the cable as a signal of 720p and 16:9 as the type of television. Even if you do not extend to fit high-definition channels – the image quality remains poor / blurred. Other functions of hard work (player, DVD recorder). Any help?
I agree with pedro. Also high resolution images definition will not be worse than HD picture award. and how far you sit from the screen manufacturers recommend about four times the size of the screen which has a 50 "screen is four times that is 16 feet. for 16 feet from the screen is the ideal. but you can go alittle less. try to stand or more away from the screen to see if that helps you just might have to go back. We also tried the preset picture settings for different image settings, as standard, film alive. Give differnt picture options for settup.
