Why is my Motorola DVR Digital Cable Box freezing in the recordings?
When viewing a recorded program, which will freeze in the middle of it and you return to the menu and start over. Why?
It sounds like your hard drive crashes. Try contacting the manufacturer of the DVR and see how to go about getting a new hard drive. Do you have a USB port on the DVR to external storage media? If so, then you may be able to mount internal hard drive and get away with using a cheaper type of passport hard drive. Just as about 120 GB for a DVR.
