Mini Rex rabbit, what I can give to chew?
Hi all, we have a 2 year old mini rex rabbit She loves chewing paper and cardboard, but not a lot of wood and wooden toys that give We bought the apple wood material and she did not seem to like the only thing I can do to chew / eat wood is to rub the fruit on that as strawberries or blueberries. that seems to spark their interest in others, but she does not chew the wood is nothing much you can recommend? thanks to all
She did not specifically need to chew wood so I would not worry too much. Your teeth should be kept trimmed by eating a proper diet – which is about all there! Should have an unlimited supply of grass hay (such as timothy hay) available at all times. If you do not eat enough hay may be because it is filling pellets, so these can be limited to portions a day. From my rabbit chew ignore most experienced wooden sticks, etc, but most will be happy chopping board. While she is eating enough hay, and has things like cardboard boxes to chew it should be fine.
