How I can get out of a contract for the service DIRECTV bad?
Directv was improperly installed and customer service was no help, and technicians do not arrive when they made appointments to come and not call to cancel. It was a total nightmare plate was installed next to the electric pole in our house and would not work most of the time. After repeated attempts to get correct this, I finally told them we were through and we are investing in Early termination fee $ 300. Do they give you crap service aggravated enough to cancel? Anyone else with this problem?
I do not had this specific problem with Directv, but had other problems with them. We moved to another state. We moved from one house to an apartment where we could not have an antenna dish. So I called them a week before and told them he wanted to move and our service went out after the billing cycle had ended, which proved to be the day that moved. That night, we returned to our TV to see our regular shows, and could not get a signal. So I I called and told them what had been said, it off on the date specified. After much debate, we realized we had put our new address the computer, which was taken so they could send an email to the box, DVR box back, and our satellite was now looking for local channels in Boston, where we were still in Kentucky. After more discussions, we have to switch back and left him there. Figuring it was no biggie, since moved and will not be using again. Once we moved, we waited and waited for the box to send the DVR back and never got it. 4 months later, we have a bill stating that did not get their new DVR and wanted to pay for it. So they called us and said we never had a box. Oops, sent the box to the house in Kentucky. So I have it straightened, but we still wanted to pay the bill that we had are affected by the error. After an hour on the phone discussing with 3 different people, the supervisor finally told us that while the case was sent back, the bill does not count against us. And better than. Moral of the story: you have to be stubborn with these people, is the only way to reach them. Do not take no for an answer and insist that they are paying for their mistakes. If you do not want to cooperate, demand to speak to a supervisor. If the supervisor does not want to cooperate, let him know you will take your case to the better business bureau. That usually wake. If not, to do just that. Good luck.
