Satellite and weather?
We just finished with a thunderstorm. When we saw the satellite receiver Bell, who was looking for transponders, but none were available, and the signal strength was zero for all transponders. I fiddled with the wires. Nothing. Reset the receiver. Nothing. Then unplug the power cable wall connection. The spark was probably the source to power the LNB. Normally, in home installations, the satellite receiver to the LNB power on the coaxial cable. As re-mount the cable goes, could have been a bad connection or luck even silly. If it works, take it!
