A brand remote to work with a 3rd party keyless entry system?
Hello! Does a car working distance Chrysler with a 3rd part of the keyless entry system (as Commando)? Can Commando 'receiver learn' the remote Chrysler? I would like add a keyless entry to my 1994 Chrysler vehicle, and I would if I could use a real remote Chrysler brand. Sincerely,
If the RKE system market Accessories can learn the remote control, then it will work (check the owners manual RKE system). Otherwise, it will not work. If '94 had keyless entry installed at the factory, then yes Chrysler transmitter will work, but must be scheduled. If it was not originally equipped with RKE, then you have to go aftermarket again.
