Differences in economic good hunters vs satellite signal?
I'll be installing satellite dishes and the company wants me to a "Birddog" signal finder. Bad side is that they are 200-300 dollars. I can get one cheaply for under $ 25. What differences they have and will keep me from a cheap do my job?
The needle cheap are the shoe only signal strength. Bird Dog units are receiving satellite tuners in them, and can find out what satellite is tuned, the control-a multi-satellite dish (you hear the other satellites), and may give a signal quality or bit error rate, which is a better number to aim with the strength of the signal.
