Do you have TIVO HD DVR work without CableCARD for the free use of Time Warner Cable?
I have free basic cable with Time Warner Cable. I would like get a TiVo HD DVR to DVR shows and I can stream Netflix .. Does the HD Tivo FREE based Time Warner Cable. Remember this is free, so I can not obtain a CableCARD. Thanks for the help!
There is no such thing as free cable television on any level. If you are receiving the programming legitimately cable service, then you will have no problem to update closer to TW digital cable and get a CableCARD. However, TiVo will have no problem in the analog cable, analog / digital antenna and digital channels unencrypted. There will be no guide data for digital cable channels without card cable.
