"I can use a converter box w / DVR and drop my satellite?
I wonder if it is possible to buy a converter box with a DVR without subscribe to a service like DirecTV?
There are DVRs that come with the new digital tuner in them, and do not require a service contract. However, we still need to have a TV source for these – or other – DVR – whether by satellite, cable or satellite. In addition, these DVR not downloaded a TV show, so Its functionality is limited to that of an old-fashioned VCR. For each occurrence of each program you want to watch TV, you should tell the DVR what channel, day of the week, start time and duration. On the other hand, DirecTV DVR features in box ONLY work with DirecTV – DirecTV receivers in the table are not compatible signals with the antenna or cable.
