Panasonic KX-TG6502B 5.8 GHz 2 Line 2 Cordless Phone line problem?
Panasonic KX-TG6502B 5.8 GHz DSS Expandable 2-Line Phone Dual Cordless Phone (Black) I have this type of phone – 1 cordless handset that is in the base station and 1 handset found in the substation. The problem is that line 2 (I have 2 separate phone lines in the house) has no dial tone on any phone wireless, you can not call / made from, and lights all the time in the base station. but when I go to a corded phone at home and pick up line 2, I get a dial tone and can call out without problems. I also believe that when I take the cordless phone defaults to line 2 until you press the button for 1st line on the handset. The connectors for wireless phones have always been the line 2 cats. Telephone lines to the station base or sub-line 2-line station. And the phones have worked very well in the 2-line phones in cats at least 2 years. So that is not the problem.
have connected your cable 2-line phone into the jack on the laptop is connected? is possible that the cat is not connected 2-line …. check the line cord for the cordless phone … there should be 4 pins on the end that plugs into the jack / phone … if there are only 2 pins then the cable is only for a single line …
