DTV does not go up two channels. HELP?
My father went to buy a new Samsung digital television over the past three days to put in a spare bedroom. Do not want this TV connected to DirecTv so we're using an antenna to receive digital channels. The problem is that TV will not pick up two local channels (CBS, ABC: both those stations that transmit DT channels). The TV is a Samsung LN-T1953H The antenna is a Terk HDR-I (Indoor HD Radio Antenna) antenna I may be incorrect because it says "HD Radio Antenna" but it helps to get all other channels (ie, WGN, Fox, NBC …) very well. I have scheduled numerous TV Sometimes self and refuses to find CBS and ABC. I looked for a way to manually add these channels, but could not. Does anyone have any idea?
If you do not have a power antenna, and even then maybe not, you have to have more direct access to transmission towers. I Antenna.org allows you to connect your zip code and give an impression the location of the towers. Trees, buildings, walls get in the way. Sorry!
