How I can set up a DirecTV dish? I have to have a switch?
I have a duel LNB DIRECTV dish. There are 2 cable plugs on the end the LNB. I have to connect a switch in the LNB if I'm just going to connect one quarter, or I can go directly from the LNB to the reciver?
His direct TV dish, if it is round, is supporting two tuners. If you only want to run a tuner, run a coaxial cable connector of the antenna to the tuner. You never have any change in line with the receiver line, which is also the power line. NEVER connect any conductor in the coaxial cable to other objects because the printed circuit board on the end plate can be easily damaged.
