Digital Signal
Explain how the analog voice signal of a telephone call is converted into a digital signal;?

Explain how the speech signal an analog telephone call is converted to a digital signal, the main steps involved in the conversion process, and why the bit rate need is 64 kbit / s. Suppose the code words of the digital signal of 8 bits long, but you must include in its explanation of how the choice of frequency sampling and size of the codeword affects the quality of the resulting digital signal filtering and why we need the conversion process.

The explanation simple … The sound (any sound) is a composition of different frequency and amplitude (acoustic) waves. If you can discover the composition can be used a) generator multiple wavelengths (to produce the same sound. The composition changes all the time (unless you're listening to a note for a period of time it takes to be the same composition all the time), so you have to play the different compositions to the same speed. Now, speaking of the frequencies. From 1 Hz to 2 Hz (cycles per second) there are an infinite number of frequencies. It is impossible to obtain a measure of each and every one. What you have to do is establish a criterion for sampling. Say, practical purposes, 1 Hz and 2 Hz is the same. You filter that frequency band and measure them all together. Obviously, this affects the quality of reproduction. Bands sample the best quality that you get playback. There is another practical detail, how many different frequencies can generate with your hardware. Once you have all your bands filtering, we measure the amplitude (average, not an arithmetic average is more like a balance of energy) and recorded for each amplitude. But this is for a moment something that does not exist in real life. You have to show for a period of time. As in the frequencies, there are countless moments in 1 second. You have to set a speed for the sampling (bit rate). The finer the bit rate, the better quality you get. Quality means more data as well. More frequencies to the sample, more periods time, more data.

Signals Signals

Rush had already begun using electronics and synth in their music by the time Signals was released in 1982, so the synth-heavy opener, "Subdivisions" (a song that proves that high-school separatism is older than last year), wasn't that great a departure from their previous material. Signals also contains the single "New World Man," which still gets heavy radio airplay almost 20 years later, as wel...
