Can Trace Direct TV satellite receivers?
Working in a condominium and who switched from cable provider about a year ago. All direct television equipment was old and now it is getting rid of all that. I took a few high-definition receivers to sell because it was better that goes to waste. I am concerned however about the receivers do not work because they are not registered and then I get into trouble. Any advice or help would be appreciated Thanks!
Over time, changes the letters on Directv receivers. If the receivers have the old cards will not work. Therefore, whoever they sell, they have to Directv phone for a new card. If the receivers are no card type, you have nothing to worry about. If I were you, I DSS phone and asked them if You can activate one of these receptors. Pretend to be a customer. But, not being registered. They will tell you if you need a card or not. Just give the information of one. Otherwise, if they do, some of its customers will be upset with you that you are selling a recipient in need of a replacement card. If they sell on eBay, maybe put them as is.
